Reconnecting us with nature—and ourselves
Plants Become Art designs eco-conscious gardens with a reverence for nature. We listen to the land, taking our cues from the soil and the seasons: Regenerative practices respect nature while intentional design honours you, your home, your spirit. Reconnect with the wild within and without.
Our design principles
Designed for all sentient beings
I. Intention
We design gardens with intention, from the aesthetics to the energetics of every plant.
II. Regeneration
We design gardens that repair and replenish the land to sustain life for generations.
III. Connection
We design gardens that nurture connection with nature, ourselves, and each other.
Meet Alexandria
Hands in the soil,
heart in the connection
As a kid, summers were spent biking in pursuit of the scent of wildflowers and roaming roadside ditches in the name of wild strawberries. My mother was a gardener, and so, too, I grew a green thumb. When it came time to pursue a career, I chose what my child self would have: Gardening.
A Horticulture Technician with seven years of nursery experience, I founded Plants Become Art in 2014. Today, we are landscape designers in the Cowichan Valley, known for our values in eco-conscious design and regenerative practices, and gardens that reconnect you with nature—and yourself.
